I think I may blog something regarding closed captioning/subtitles on DVD and Blu-ray releases and how they different in different regions of the world.

I'm around :) I find I have about a five year cycle for what I do (IRL and online) so I've stopped worrying about it. This sounds perfectly normal to me.
